Our Term 1 trips!

During Term 1, our topic study was about tikanga and culture. We learned about NZ's history from a Maori perspective as well as our own cultural perspectives. 

We visited the Auckland Museum to learn about the Pacific Island migration and their art.

We also ventured into the bush at the Auckland Domain where we got to see how Maori traditionally used Tane Mahuta's forest for many, many things. Ask us about it!

We also visited the Fo Guang Shan Temple in Flat Bush for another cultural experience.
